Voice Typing was recently released as a feature of Google Docs in which a user can use their device's microphone to convert voice to text directly in a Doc. It works quite well according to those who are already using it with the possible exception of tables within a Doc.
This feature will mean great things for students with accessibility needs. Previous software was not only expensive, but also only available in a Windows or Mac environment. Extensions and Add-ons came along eventually in the Chrome world, but now the feature is directly built-in by Google to all Docs.
